Nick Lawrence

"A very original, great singersSongwriter!" ~ Kent Folk on BBC Radio Kent
From foot-stomping folk to heartfelt ballads to historical commentary and story telling, Nick draws from the well of traditional and contemporary folk to compose his songs. His compositions evoke images of centuries gone by, be that wassailing in the winter, the re-telling of Viking raids in Kent, or spurned love, where the audience will be singing along, laughing, and maybe even shedding a tear throughout the performance.
Alfonso the Magnificent

Performing original songs, that range from emotionally charged ballads to tunes that you won't be able to resist dancing to, Alfonso draw upon a musical pallet that references contemporary folk, Latin, jazz and classical music.
Over the years they have performed at many local venues, including the Ropetackle Arts Centre Shoreham. They have also headlined several folk clubs in the South East - most notably Twick Folk (London) and Hambledon Folk Club (Hampshire), and have played live sessions on the radio.
