We are now preparing for our exciting 2021 festival between 16th and 19th September 2021.

Expect great headliners – including Steve Harley, Merry Hell and many others – plus our third Southdowns Ukulele Festival, our inaugural Southdowns Americana Festival and new for this year, a stunning ‘Shanty Showdown’ feature. It’s gonna be good!

We are ‘rolling-over’ almost all of our entire Festival programme into 2021. As before, there`ll be loads of free events, fabulous festival markets, dance displays, Big Seaside Sing, musical sessions, free workshops and more.

Festival outreach projects, in particular the ‘Making Your Mark’ free ukulele sessions and ‘Musical Minds’
will continue – with a series of mini events and concerts culminating at the 2021 event.

We look forward to welcoming you to the festival in September 2021.
Roger Nash – Chairman of Southdowns Folk Festival.

Merry Hell Headline Our Saturday Night

The brilliant, award-winning Merry Hell are now headlining on Saturday 18th September in place of The Strawbs, who have sadly had to pull out due to medical reasons.
