A very big thank you for making the 2019 festival probably one of the best ever.

There were some truly wonderful performances throughout the 4 days of the festival here in Bognor, with huge crowds being wowed by an array of talented musicians.

We are already looking ahead to 2020, and the dates for next year are 17th – 20th September; please make a note in your diaries.

The 2020 festival will be our 8th event, and will also incorporate the 3rd Southdowns Ukulele Festival, plus the return of the Big Seaside Sing and ukulele sessions via Making Your Mark project. We plan to extend this project further afield in the next few months, so watch out for more details!

Visitors and participants for the 2020 event can also expect scintillating music sessions in several different venues across Bognor Regis, an expanded dance programme, festival food and craft markets, the Sussex Young Folk Competition, the Real Ale Festival, plus excellent workshops and children’s entertainment.

Bognor Regis Town Centre will host and enjoy four days of the very best folk, roots, acoustic music and dance.

With many thanks, Roger Nash – Chairman of Southdowns Folk Festival

With things as they are in the current uncertain climate, we're still working hard to deliver an excellent event this September, and are remaining positive.

We will continue to follow the guidelines set-out by the government in terms of large scale events and safety.

Many thanks for your continued support.
