Phil Beer – Phil Beer is the multi-instrumental half of the west country’s award-winning acoustic duo Show of Hands. With a professional career of over 36 years, Phil has a great deal of material to draw on for his solo appearances, which are an eclectic mix of traditional tunes, covers of Springsteen and The Hollies, together with his own compositions and songs from his contemporaries.

Roving Crows are an Irish Folk Rock band who deliver the goods with unbounded amounts of riotous energy and banter. The Crows started their journey when a guitarist from Kildare and a fiddle player from Cheltenham, via Donegal, met at a festival in 2007. The music flowed and they’ve not stopped since, with 5 albums under their belt and several national and international awards. Now a 4 piece, Roving Crows are an awe-inspiring force on stage – unstoppable and passionate. They seamlessly marry humour, provocative lyrics, traditional Irish tunes and rock to entertain and bring the listener on a ride that they won’t want to get off. They make a hell of a noise for 4 people.

3 Daft Monkeys – Based in Cornwall but reaching across continents, 3 Daft Monkeys are a genre-defying folk-world four-piece powerhouse. This independent band brings an original and electrifying mix of Eastern and Western influences to their music, crafting a bold, vibrant blend of styles. The band experiment with modern storytelling in a playful way, creating songs full of emotion and infectious energy. Combining Celtic and Cornish roots with fiery fiddle tunes, Balkan and Romani influences, punk-style sass and irresistible global rhythms, they whip audiences into an emotional frenzy with every performance.

Megson – Combining an infectious mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars, Megson have gained a reputation not only for their arresting & intelligent song writing, but also for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour. Comprising Debs Hanna (vocals, whistle, piano, accordion) and Stu Hanna (guitar, mandola, banjo) Megson have been described as “the most original duo on the British folk scene” by The Guardian and as FROOTS Magazine puts it “if you don’t like the music here then you have a problem.”

Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation brings a soulful mix of folk-rock and country, and engages audiences with emotive lyrics, 70s inspired style and a voice full of soul that can truly open the heart.

Ed Goodale – Ed is an inspirational musician whose self-penned songs and engaging live performances have built a loyal following. Whether solo or with his band, Ed’s songs tell stories of life observed through ‘gifted’ eyes. He has toured throughout the UK and Europe and this festival appearance offers a rare opportunity to see Ed live in his home town.
