We’re completely thrilled to announce that we have been successful in our bid to create an Educational Website featuring traditional songs from the South Downs.
The grant is being provided by the South Downs National Park Authority.

We are thrilled to announce that the Sussex Community Foundation have awarded our 2018 festival a sum of £5000.
The funds will be used for the festival ‘Skills Project’, in partnership with ‘Making Theatre Gaining Skills’. Our Skills Project uses funding to train local unemployed people as stewards for the Southdowns Folk Festival.
We are so pleased to continue and build on the success of last year’s project. Many thanks to the foundation for all their support.
We’re pleased to be supporting Ovation Music as part of this year’s Sussex Young Folk Competition. Ovation are a young people’s music charity in Chichester, West Sussex, providing a platform for children and young people to get involved in making music.
Sussex Young Folk Competition 2018 in association with Butlins, Bognor Regis, will take place on Sunday 23rd September at William Hardwicke.
