The Charcoal Burners are a modern folk fusion band formed in 2016.
They comprise of David O’Brien (Lead Vocals), a singer/songwriter who toured with Hazel O’Connor in the eighties; Steve Redshaw (Banjo); and Martin Ruinet (whistle, harmonica, mandolin and mandola) who also brings the humour; and Art Gelling (bass and foot drum).
Their rhythmic beats are fast, foot tapping and catchy and will have you itching to dance, whilst their four part harmonies promises to make your spine tingle.
