Red Shoes

Soaring, passionate vocals, chiming acoustic guitars and a superb catalogue of original songs in the Folk/Roots/Americana vein, written by Carolyn and Mark Evans, lie at the heart of the Red Shoes success story. They have become a live favourite on the Folk Club, Theatre and Festival circuit, with Carolyn’s vocals drawing comparisons with Sandy Denny.
Following up with the critically acclaimed “All The Good Friends” produced by Mick Dolan (Show of Hands; Fisherman’s Friends; Fairport Convention), they rang the changes on their third release. “It Isn’t Over Yet” turned out to be a double album – Disc 1 a full band production and Disc 2 a stripped back acoustic recording.
It was awarded “Band Album of the Year” by FolkWords and hailed as “A Classic!” by FATEA Magazine.
